2024-2025 Winter & Spring Information

Winter PDP is open to U6-U8 Boys and Girls and is conducted Indoors.  All sessions will be at the APSU Foy Recreation Center which is a gym floor surface.  Players must have indoor shoes or running shoes (NO CLEATS allowed), bring your own ball and water bottle.   The program is limited to 20 players per time slot this year due to space limitations.

Saturdays.  12:00-1:00pm.     6U (2019 Birth Year)

Start Date is January 11th
End Date is February 15th
Jamboree Game Day is February 23rd

Spring PDP is open to U4-U10 Boys and Girls and is conducted at Life Point Church at 1915 Rossview Road.   

Mondays 5:00-5:40pm U4/U5
Mondays 6:00-7:00 pm U6,U7, U8,U9, U10
Jamboree Game Day is April 27th 

Program start date is March 17 -April 27th. 

Clarksville Soccer Club Player Development Pathway

CSC Player Development Program (PDP), (formerly known as the development academy) is offered for U4-U10 age groups as a once weekly skill development program for individual players.   This is an open registration program and no evaluation is required.  This program is offered Fall, Winter and Spring, for 6 weeks increments.  Any skill level can register at any time for this program.   Players may be offered opportunity to move into our pre-academy and academy teams through PDP evaluations which are ongoing throughout the year.  

• U7 players can be evaluated for our head start into our academy team program which begins at U8.   At U7 players are too young to play on "competitive/travel" teams as per TSSA soccer rules.  All U7 players should enroll in our PDP program and will be able to transition to Academy the next seasonal year when they are elegible to compete as per TN Soccer rules at U8. 
  

• ACADEMY  U8 TEAMS (Player Pools) :  This is the first step into the competitive/travel team phases of the Clarksville Soccer Club.   Our U8 program player development plan includes team practices two days per week and scheduled  Academy Game days 2-3 dates per month, typically on Saturday mornings at Life Point Field.   The season is August-May.    U8 Academy Game Dates are primarily internal game day experiences (CSC v. CSC); however we do consider providing some outside competition experience to our U8 pool if the players demonstrate competitive readiness.   Our decision to play outside competition for the U8 age group depends on finding equitable competition to provide the right player development experiences for our players, while keeping travel and costs at a minimum.   Refer to the CSC Player Development Pathway model for the flow of player progression through our programs. Competitive teams have different program fees and different time commitments than the Player Development Program.   

• ACADEMY  U9-U10 TEAMS (Player Pools) :   The season is August-May. Training is 2 nights per week.  Travel is typically 2-3 weekend's per month.  These teams play games against outside competition by way of friendly games with opposing clubs, JDL (Junior Development League) Games and Tournament Play.   Travel mostly is within the Nashville and surrounding areas (typically within 60 miles of Clarksville) but these age groups also may participate in tournament play that may be outside this area.   We do try to keep travel time and costs down for these age groups so these further away travel experiences are limited each season by age group.    Refer to the CSC Player Development Pathway model for the flow of player progression through our programs. Competitive teams have different program fees and different time commitments than the Player Development Program.   The Academy Teams have a 10 month season (Aug-May).
