Code of Conduct

Parents play a pivotal part in helping their own AND other players learn good sportsmanship. Their own behavioral example is instrumental in demonstrating how to work together, sacrifice for others, how to deal appropriately with defeat and victory. Clarksville Soccer Club expects parents to treat youth soccer appropriately – children having fun. Our club members should be role models of how to behave on
the touchline.

Parent Sideline Ethics Agreement

Clarksville Soccer Club expects players to demonstrate an understanding of his/her duty to support the team as
a whole through his/her conduct and sportsmanship behavior.

Out of State Players

Players residing in the state of Kentucky must complete out of state registration.

  • For families with a Kentucky address, complete the Kentucky State Soccer Association “Out of State Player Form” available at this link.  Print or save the receipt file as a .pdf and send a copy to your coach or manager who will forward to the Club Registrars.  The Kentucky State Soccer Association requires a processing fee to be released from Kentucky to play in any other state.  Be prepared to pay that fee online with a credit card.  In the past, that fee has been $35.
  • Families living on Post with a Fort Campbell, KY address will NOT need to request a release from Kentucky State Soccer Association.  Per prior agreement, Tennessee State Soccer Association and Clarksville Soccer Club facilitate the clearance process for families with a Fort Campbell, KY address.
  •  If your player is registering for competitive soccer for the first time AND was born out of country (even if he/she is a US Citizen), there may be additional paperwork needed.  Share the following information with your coach or team manager who will subsequently notify the Clarksville Soccer Club Registrar to request further instructions:  Player Name, Date of Birth, Country of Birth, US Citizenship Status, and Player Age When First Entered United States. The CSC Registrar will consult with Tennessee State Soccer Association and United States Soccer Federation to determine if additional paperwork is needed.

Guest Player Policy

The Clarksville Soccer Club recognizes that from time to time guest players may be needed to reduce the hardship on a team with few substitutes and/or excessive absences of rostered players. The following document explains the Club’s position for utilizing guest players in any capacity. This policy applies to guest players who participate in tournaments, friendlies, league play, practices, trips, camps, or any other activity that the CSC team is a participant.

Age Group Policy

The Clarksville Soccer Club recognizes that player development is best achieved when players compete at their
appropriate “soccer age” in training or game situations. Natural age groups are defined by the age matrix/birthdate cutoffs provided by US Youth Soccer and adhered to by the Tennessee State Soccer Association. However, we recognize that in certain cases, providing opportunities for a player to train or compete in an older/younger age group may be appropriate for their development.
