PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

ABOUT PDP

CSC Player Development Program (PDP), (formerly known as the development academy) is offered for U4-U10 age groups as a once weekly skill development program for individual players. This program is offered Fall, Winter and Spring, for 6 weeks increments. Any skill level can register at any time for this program. We also offer a Parent N Tot Program during select seasons. 

Players can be evaluated through our PDP program for selection to our Academy Teams (U8-U10)

U8 Academy

 Our U8 program player development plan includes team practices two days per week and scheduled Academy Game days 2-3 dates per month, typically on Saturday mornings at Life Point Field. The season is August-May. U8 Academy Game Dates are primarily internal game day experiences (CSC v. CSC); however we do consider providing some outside competition experience to our U8 pool if the players demonstrate competitive readiness. Our decision to play outside competition for the U8 age group depends on finding equitable competition to provide the right player development experiences for our players, while keeping travel and costs at a minimum. 

U9-U10 Academy

The season is August-May. Training is 2 nights per week. Travel is typically 2-3 weekend's per month. These teams play games against outside competition by way of friendly games with opposing clubs, JDL (Junior Development League) Games and Tournament Play. Travel mostly is within the Nashville and surrounding areas but these age groups also may participate in tournament play that may be outside this area. We do try to keep travel time and costs down for these age groups so these further away travel experiences are limited each season by age group. The Academy Teams have a 10 month season (Aug-May).
